September 19 to 25, 2016 is Science Literacy Week in Canada. All across Canada, universities, museums, libraries and others are hosting fun, science-related events for all ages. As part of this, I have been invited to speak at the Toronto Public Library. Next Tuesday, September 20, I will be at the Northern District branch, talking about the science of beauty products. Along with basic science concepts related to beauty products, I will also discuss product claims to watch out for: which products will really work as claimed, and which ones are a waste of money!
